IBM is planning to acquire Sun Microsystem, but due to the global financial crisis the company is also affected with the economic state of the whole world. IBM already laid off 5,000 of its employees, and they are planning to lay off up to 6,000 employees in the coming months. This sounds bad to the people under the information technology industry, more and more people are lossing their jobs and income.
Some people told that they are going to have a black Thursday for more lay offs. Hope everything in the IT industry and global financial crisis will end up.
