A letter to the Filipinos.. The Philippines Needs You
challenge to all of us who love our country. The message of this article is so strong.. Take time to read this:
To all Filipinos Everywhere:
I used to think that corruption and criminality in the Philippines were caused by poverty. But recent
events tell me this is not true. It is one thing to see people turn into drug addicts, prostitutes, thieves and murderers because of hunger and poverty, but what
excuse do these rich, educated people have that could
possibly explain their bizarre behavior? And to think I was always
so relieved when petty snatchers got caught and locked away in jail because I
never fully realized that the big time thieves were out there,
making the laws and running our country. Can it get
any worse than this?
Every night, I come home and am compelled to turn on
my tv to watch the latest turn of events. I am mesmerized by these characters. They are not men. They are caricatures of men - too unreal to be believable and too bad to be real. To
see these "honorable" crooks lambast each other, call each one names,
look each other in the eye and accuse the other of
committing the very same crimes that they themselves are guilty of, is so comical and apalling that I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It is entertainment at its worst!
I have never seen so many criminals roaming around unfettered and looking smug until now. These criminals wear suits and barongs, strut around with the confidence of the rich and famous, inspire fear and awe from the very citizens who voted them to power,
bear titles like "Honorable", "Senator", "Justice", "General" and worse, "President". Ironically,
these lawless individuals practice law, make our laws, enforce the law. And we wonder why our policemen act the way they do! These are their leaders, and the leaders of this nation, " Robin Hoodlum" and his band of moneymen. Their motto, "Rob the poor, moderate the greed of the rich."
It makes me wonder where on earth these people came from, and what kind of upbringing
they had to make them act the way they do for all the world to see. It makes me wonder what kind of schools they went to, what kind of teachers they had, what kind of environment would produce such creatures who can lie, cheat and steal from an already indebted country and
from the impoverished people they had vowed to serve. It makes me wonder what their
children and grandchildren think of them, and if they are breeding a whole
new generation of improved Filipino crooks and liars with maybe a tad more style but equally
negligible conscience. Heaven forbid!
I am an ordinary citizen and taxpayer. I am blessed to have a job that pays for my
needs and those of my family, even though 30% of my earnings go to the nation's coffers. Just like others in my lot, I have complained time and again because our government could not provide enough of the basic services that I expect and deserve. Rutty roads, poor educational system,
poor social services, poor health services, poor everything. But I have always thought that was what
all third world countries were all about, and my complaints never amounted to anything more.
And then this. Scandalous government deals. Plundering presidents pointing fingers. Senators
who are crooks. Congressmen who accept bribes. Big time lawyers on the side of injustice. De Venecia ratting on his boss only after his interminable term has ended, Enrile inquiring about someone's morality! The already filthy rich Abalos and Arroyo wanting more money than they
or their great grandchildren could ever spend in a lifetime. Joker caught red-handed. Defensor rendered defenseless. Gen. Razon involved in kidnapping. Security men providing anything but a sense of security. And it's all about money, money, money that the average Juan de la Cruz could not
even imagine in his dreams. Is it any wonder why our few remaining decent and hardworking citizens are leaving to go work in other countries?
And worst of all, we are once again saddled with a power-hungry president whose addiction has her
clinging on to it like barnacle on a rusty ship. "Love (of power) is blind" takes a whole new meaning when PGMA time and again turns a blind eye on her husband's shady financial deals. And still
blinded with all that is happening, she opts to traipse around the world with her cohorts in tow while her country is in shambles. They say the few stupid ones like me who remain in the
Philippines are no longer capable of showing disgust. I don't agree. Many like me feel anger at the
brazenness of men we call our leaders, embarrassment to share
the same nationality with them, frustration for our nation and helplessness at my own
ineffectuality. It is not that I won't make a stand. It is just that I am afraid my actions would only be
futile. After all, these monsters are capable of anything. They can hurt me and my family. They
already have, though I may not yet feel it. But I am writing this because I need to do something
concrete. I need to let others know that ordinary citizens like me do not remain lukewarm to issues that would later affect me and my children. I want to make it known that there are also
Filipinos who dream of something better for the Philippines. I want them to know that my country is not filled with scalawags and crooks in every corner, and that there are citizens
left who believe in decency, fairness, a right to speak, a right to voice out ideas, a right to tell the
people we have trusted to lead us that they have abused their power and that it is time
for them to step down. I refuse to let this country go to hell because it
is the only country I call mine and it is my responsibility to make sure I have done what I
could for it.
Those of us who do not have the wealth, power or position it needs to battle the evil crime lords in
the government can summon the power of good. We can pray. We can do this with our families every night. We can ask others to pray, too, including relatives and friends here and overseas, just so we get the message to Him of our desperation in ridding our nation of these vermin. After all, they
cannot be more powerful than God!
I implore mothers out there to raise your children thebest way you can. Do not smother, pamper, or
lavish them with too much of the material comforts of life even if you can well afford them. Teach them that there are more important things in this world. I beg all fathers to spend time with their children, to teach them the virtues of hard work, honesty, fair play, sharing, dignity and compassion
right from the sandbox till they are old enough to go on their own. Not
just in your homes, but at work, in school, everywhere you go. Be good role models. Be shining
examples for your children so they will learn to be responsible adults who will carry and pass on your
family name with pride and honor.
I call on educators and teachers; we always underestimate the power of your influence on the minds
of our youth. Encourage them to be aware of what is happening in their surroundings. Instill in them a
love of their country, inculcate in them the value of perseverance in order to gain real, worthwhile
knowledge, help us mold our children into honorable men and women. Encourage our graduates, our best and brightest, to do what they can to lift this country from the mire our
traditional politicians have sunk us into. The youth is our future and it would be largely
because of you, our educators, that we will be able to repopulate the seats of power with good leaders, presidents, senators, congressmen, justices, lawmakers, law enforcers and lawful citizens.
I ask all students, young people and young professionals everywhere to look around and get involved in what is happening. Do not let your youth be an excuse for failure to concern yourselves with the harsh realities you see. But neither let this make you cynical, because we need your idealism and fresh perspective just as you need the wisdom of your elders. YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU! Let your voices be heard. Do what you can for this land that gave you your ancestors and your heritage. Use
technology and all available resources at hand to spread good. Text meaningful messages to awaken social conscience. Try your best to fight moral decay because I promise you will not regret it when you become parents yourselves. You will look back at your past misdeeds and pray that your children will do better than you did.
Remember that there are a few handful who are capable of running this country. You can join their
ranks and make their numbers greater. We are tired of the old trapos. We need brave idealistic leaders who will think of the greater good before anything else. Do your utmost to excel in your chosen field. Be good lawyers, civil servants, accountants, computer techs, engineers,
doctors, military men so that when you are called to serve in government, you will have
credibility and a record that can speak for itself.
For love of this country, for the future of our children, for the many who have sacrificed and died to
uphold our rights and ideals, I urge you to do what you can. As ordinary citizens, we can do much more for the Philippines than sit around and let crooks lead us to perdition. We owe
ourselves this. And we owe our country even more.

Kaspersky Not Blacklisted Key, Serial, Keygen, Crack
Other user tried the proper and right way in order to get their kaspersky. They are not into serials, cracks, keygen but instead they buy their personal keys so that they would not get into problem. But there are still hackers, pirates that won’t stop till they got what they want. One good user exclaimed “It’s no use! It’s unfair! We good users try to buy one of the keys; we spend real money for the software, while the pirates didn’t even spend single cent for it.” Pirates also exclaim that if you wanted to get the real working Kaspersky serial, you have to be patient and must give time searching. But for me, I think we have to buy one for ourselves to avoid problem on the long run. Right?

Pacquiao Finished Diaz!
At last the history had been made. The first Asian to hold the crown for threee different boxing division and the ultimate figther in the world today, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao! Your are the FIlipino champion and living hero of all time.
See the last video of the Pacquiao - Diaz round 9, and the rest is HISTORY!
Pacquiao Won! Diaz a beaten history..
Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs) dethroned WBC lightweight titleholder David Diaz (34-2-1, 17 KOs) via ninth round KO in a brilliant display. Pacquiao was much quicker as he outpunched and outboxed the naturally bigger man. Diaz was busted up by Pacman's sharp punching and it was target practice by round five. The gutsy Diaz kept coming, however, until Pacquiao floored him in the ninth to end it. Time was 2:24.
Haton is probably the next in line. You are the living hero for the Filipinos. Manny Pacquiao proved to the world the Philippines pride deserves the fourth crown in the four division of boxing after devastating David "Dangerous" Diaz in the 9 round at 2:24.
Pacquiao is horrendous fighter in his four division titles, hopefully we are looking forward for the next in line "Haton".
After the devastation of the Typhoon Frank in the Philippines, Pacman proves to the world that his fists has the power to knockout the Mexican fighters. Barrera, Morales, Marquez, Diaz are all down.
Go Pacman!

Windows Vista is the End of LIFE?
Why do I keep reading that Windows Vista won’t work with hardware or software? In its early days, Windows Vista did experience some compatibility problems, but thanks to our industry partners’ efforts during the past 18 months, Windows Vista has made tremendous progress with hardware and application compatibility.
- Now supports nearly 77,000 hardware products—more than double the number supported at launch. In 9 out of 10 cases when you plug in a device, it should just work: No installation disc required.
- Runs 97 of the top 100 consumer software programs, including Apple iTunes, Adobe Photoshop, Intuit Quickbooks and more.
- Runs the leading business applications. More than 2,700 applications are now certified to work on Windows Vista—and more join the list each day. Software from Adobe, Autodesk, CA, ClickCommerce, IBM, Oracle, SAP, SAS, Symantec, Trend Micro, and others.
- Received a top-to-bottom tune up, thanks to Windows Vista Service Pack 1. Released in February 2008, SP1 boosts file copying speed, shutters security loopholes, and much more. (Read more about Windows Vista SP1.)
- What makes Windows Vista so much better than Windows XP?
- Stronger security. Windows Vista has fewer than half the security vulnerabilities of Windows XP. It’s also 60% less likely to be infected by spyware or malware than Windows XP SP2, making it the most secure Windows released to-date.
- Faster searching. With powerful and speedy Instant Search, you and your customers can quickly find the documents, e-mail, photos, and videos you need to get the job done.
- Increased mobility. Quickly access key mobile system settings in the Windows Mobility Center; simplify the synchronization of servers, shared documents, Smartphones, and other devices.
- More peace of mind. Safeguard data with the new Windows Backup and Restore Center and Windows BitLocker™ Drive Encryption*.
- Improved user interface. The enhancements we’ve made to the user interface serve an important purpose: to put everything within a click’s reach and make you and your customers more productive.
How well does Windows Vista perform? As many of you know, there are lots of ways to think about operating system performance. Let’s consider a few of the most common ones.
Speed
Microsoft tests on new PCs show that Windows Vista Service Pack 1 can reduce average startup and shutdown times for Windows Vista by as much as half.
Meanwhile, a series of independent speed tests found that Windows Vista with SP1 performed comparably to Windows XP SP2.
Why doesn’t it win? Simple. Behind the scenes, Windows Vista is doing a lot more on the user’s behalf than Windows XP does. It’s indexing files so users can find them fast, keeping
* Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption is available in Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Enterprise.
the hard drive organized, saving work so nothing gets lost, and defending the computer against hackers and phishers.
Power consumption
With Windows Vista, users are likely to get a lot more battery life. Our engineers put a lot of thought into power management for the user’s sake—and the planet’s.
The latest generation of Windows Vista drivers can slash laptop power consumption as much as 10 percent when a computer is idle. In sleep mode, Windows Vista draws about as much power as a common nightlight. Every 10 PCs that switch to Windows Vista is the equivalent of taking an automobile off the road, in terms of greenhouse gases.
Windows XP: The facts about its future
After careful consultation with our customers and industry partners, we’ve decided to proceed with our plan to stop selling Windows XP versions in packaged product (retail) on June 30, 2008. We plan to provide support for Windows XP to our customers under the mainstream support policy until April 14, 2009, and under the extended support policy until April 8, 2014. We recognize that your customers will look to you, their trusted advisors, for additional information and next steps. The facts:
Why do you have to stop selling Windows XP?
The lifespan of every Microsoft product is carefully mapped from launch to retirement. Windows XP is no exception. We do this to ensure our customers always get the most out of their PC experience. (Read about the Windows lifecycle policy.) Although it won’t be sold in stores, Microsoft and its partners will continue to offer technical support for Windows XP for months and years to come. In fact, Microsoft plans to support Windows XP until 2014. We’re proud of Windows XP, a product that’s empowered and entertained hundreds of millions of people in the last eight years. But technology doesn’t stand still. And neither can we.
What’ll happen to Windows XP after June 30? On June 30, 2008, Microsoft will stop distributing Windows XP as a stand-alone product that can be bought shrink-wrapped in retail stores. We’ll also stop sending it to Dell, HP, Lenovo, and all the other major PC manufacturers to sell on their PCs. This is called ―End of Sale‖.
That said, Windows XP isn’t going to disappear overnight.
You may still see copies of the software—or computers preloaded with it—for months as stores and PC makers work through their inventory. Also, system builders can continue to sell PCs with Windows XP until January 2009.
Finally, Microsoft recently announced that computers with limited hardware capabilities—devices sometimes called Netbooks or ultra-low cost PC s (ULCPC)—can carry Windows XP Home until June 2010. (Read about the ULCPC program on Microsoft PressPass.)
I’ve heard I can get Windows XP for businesses past the June 30th deadline through something called “downgrade rights.” What are those exactly? For businesses that rely on Windows XP, there’s still a way to get it. When customers buy Windows Vista Business or Windows Vista Ultimate, they have the right to move back to Windows XP Professional via what we call ―downgrade rights.‖ We’ve been working closely with our industry partners to develop new programs for business customers interested in exercising these rights.
For more details on downgrade rights see: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4f4b3cfd-7f4e-46cb-8117-8275f7683d3f&DisplayLang=en.
My customers and my business rely on Windows XP. What’ll happen after June 30 if I have technical problems? We understand some of our customers aren’t ready to upgrade their PCs to Windows Vista. Although Windows XP will disappear from stores, we’ll continue to offer Extended Support for the operating system for six more years, until April 2014. PC makers can also provide technical support for PCs. Please contact them for more information.
For more details, see Microsoft’s Support Lifecycle website.
I’ve heard about two types of Windows XP support—“mainstream” and “extended”. What’s the difference? Mainstream Support delivers free security updates and bug fixes to all Windows customers, as well as technical assistance for customers who purchase a retail copy of Windows XP (i.e. a shrink-wrapped, not pre-installed, copy ). Mainstream Support for Windows XP will continue through April 2009.
Extended Support delivers free security updates to all Windows customers. Customers can also pay for support on a per incident basis. Extended Support for Windows XP will continue until April 2014. New bug fixes require the Extended Hotfix Support program.
Read the Microsoft Support Lifecycle Policy FAQ website.
Don’t just take our word…
―Windows Vista is not, as the Web's chorus of caustic critics claim, little more than a warmed-over Windows XP. Its more intelligent navigation and more powerful file-manipulation tools provide you with greater efficiency from Day 1.‖–The New York Times ―[Windows] Vista is not going away, and in day-to-day use it provides some substantial upgrades over previous Windows versions.‖–The Washington Post ―[Windows] Vista is definitely the best operating system Microsoft has ever made.‖ –Fortune ―It's clear that driver issues in Windows Vista have been largely ironed out… [Windows] Vista is performing far better than it used to.‖–ExtremeTech.com ―Its negative rap is undeserved. On a well-running machine with adequate hardware, it's an excellent operating system.‖–The Houston Chronicle
The Facts
- Windows Vista now supports more than 77,000 printers, cameras, speakers and other devices
- More than 2,700 software programs are now certified to work on Windows Vista, including 97 of the top 100 consumer applications
- 62% of small businesses said Windows Vista saves them time and 70% said it makes them more productive, according to an independent survey
- Studies show Windows Vista delivers the lowest mobile TCO: $251/PC in cost savings on mobile PCs
- More than 140 million copies of Windows Vista have been sold, making it the fastest selling operating system in Microsoft history. Even Macs run it
- 71 percent of Windows Vista customers like it better than their last operating system
- People familiar with Windows Vista are two to three times more likely to have a favorable impression of it
- Every 10 PCs that switch to Windows Vista is the equivalent of taking an automobile off the road, in terms of greenhouse gases.
Unveiling Tiger Woods opponent "Pain"
This is what a real champion can do... and this proves that he still have the prestige in the world of golf.
After the U.S. open in Tiger Woods proves that pain will never stop him for wining the champion. this is not all about the celebration, but it's survival. Rocco Mediate’s final putt had failed to fall on the playoff round’s first extra playoff hole and finally this 14th major was Tiger’s to embrace with a grip perhaps tighter and more appreciative than any other.
If it was just that, then maybe Woods wouldn’t have been calling this his greatest major championship.
“I think this is the best,” he said. “This week had a lot of doubt to it, to be honest with you.”
This was about Woods simply not allowing himself to lose, perhaps because of how much he knows this one might wind up meaning. It wasn’t just how difficult it was, it was the fear that this is how difficult it may be from here on out.
It wasn’t just outlasting Rocco here with the midday California sun beating down, it wasn’t even Woods’ second consecutive 18th hole-overtime-forcing birdie, it wasn’t even winning a mental and physical test of wills – 358 strokes to 359.
Tiger’s knee is more troublesome than temporary. He all but admitted he reinjured it here, said he was shutting things down again for a while and might skip the British Open next month. It was a clear testament not just to the potential severity but that this may be worse than ever.

What The Bible says about money
"remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth."
Can money get in the way of more important things? Jeremiah 9:23-24.
Wealth can become the center of our life and take God's place."This is what the Lord says: "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man boast of his strength or the rich man boast of his riches, but let him who boasts boast about this: that he understands and knows Me, that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth, for in these I delight," declares the Lord."
Wealth can give us wrong attitudes about material things, Luke 12:15 NIV
"Then [Jesus] said to them, "Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions."
You cannot serve both God and Money.I Timothy 6:9, NIV
"People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction."
Though not impossible, it's difficult for the rich to enter heaven - God's kingdom. Mark 10:23-25, NIV.
"Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!" The disciples were amazed at His words. Then Jesus said, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God!"
The love of money leads to evil. I Timothy 6:10, NIV.
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."
Greed often accompanies prosperity and can lead to crime.James 4:1-2,
"What is causing the quarrels and fights among you? Isn't it because there is a whole army of evil desires within you? You want what you don't have, so you kill to get it. You long for what others have, and can't afford it, so you start a fight to take it away from them. And yet the reason you don't have what you want is that you don't ask God for it."
tithing . . .the more you give, the greater your heavenly reward. Luke 12:33-34, NIV
"Sell your possessions and give to the poor: Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
God asks us to return tithe [10%] and offerings to Him and in return He promises unlimited blessings.Malachi 3:8-10, NIV.
"Will a man rob God?" Yet you rob Me. "But you ask, "How do we rob You?" In tithes and offerings." Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it."
Christ endorsed tithing. Matthew 23:23, NIV.
"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices, mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law - justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former."
How may all, rich and poor, honor God? Proverbs 3:9, NIV.
"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine."
investment . . .What investment strategy does God recommend? I Timothy 6:17-19, NIV.
"Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life."
Christs teachings don't advise investements that are safe or investments of limited liability. His teachings always encourage stepping out in faith but always coulpled with wisdom. In fact there is no safe investment.
Contentment is not related to amount of money or possessions. Philippians 4:12-13, TLB.
"I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of contentment in every situation, whether it be a full stomach or hunger, plenty or want; for I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and power."
A valuable reminder for property owners. Leviticus 25:23, TLB
"And remember, the land is Mine, so you may not sell it permanently. You are merely My tenants and sharecroppers!"
If we put God first, He will take care of all our needs. Matthew 6:33, NIV.
"But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."
Christian Financial Advice
The best way to make sure the financial advisor will provide you with the best ethical advice is to use a "fee-only" Christian financial advisor. When an advisor is fee-only that means they don't SELL you investment products, only quality unbiased advice. They work for you, not the brokerage firm.
There is another thing that needs to be considered. Assuming most companies will do their best, and that you have chosen a planner with high integrity, what else would be involved in your decision? Competence would be important.
How is our approach different than other options available to you? It should be Biblically based, that is a given. However, here is where we can get into trouble. There is a vast difference between Biblical principles and Biblical interpretation. Way too often, services that are touted as "Christian" are selling a style of investing based on questionable interpretations of end-time scenarios.
Remember the Y2K era? I remember best-selling Christian Financial Planners giving people advice to cash in retirement plans and take the penalty! They were basing their advice to act on feelings and their ability to predict the future, which is clearly unscriptural.
I would submit that much more money has been wasted that could have gone to the Kingdom of God, by Christians acting out of fear than by Christians being too bold.
The Parable of the talents in Luke 19:12-24 illustrates this.As Americans, God has blessed us. He has placed us in a time and location where stock and real estate values have increased greatly. The stock market (as measured by the S&P index) would have made your investment of the last 10 years (ended 12/31/01) grow by a factor of 4.4x. In other words $100,000 would have grown to over $440,000. As Christian Financial planners we cannot guarantee the future of capitalism. But we must also not be so arrogant as to predict its demise. Paranoia is not the litmus test for good Christian Stewardship.
Pacquiao Diaz Fight.. Pacquiao Diaz....
I watched the videos of some of Diaz fights, especially against Morales. Diaz keeps moving forward and is the aggressor in round 1, Morales was been tag then he counter and K.D. Diaz but the time expired and Diaz recovered. With Santa Cruz, Diaz win with late K.O. but Santa Cruz was ahead on points. With Montano, Diaz can not finish Montano, I do not know if Diaz trained hard or not. For sure Diaz will train hard and will not underestimate Pacquiao, so, expect Diaz with his A level of fights( good barometer is the fight against Morales and Santa Cruz) and expect that he will throw volume of punches and he will try to overwhelm Pacquiao and will use his wide body as an advantage. But Pacquiao has a good chance because he does not need to come after Diaz, Manny should use his hand speed, more head movement and more footwork. Manny should also throw combination of punches to the body and the head, he should lessen the head hunting which Morales failed to do, Diaz has a wider body which can be target easily and Diaz has a poor defense. The body shoots will lead an open door for the head to be exposed.
The Port Hole for Manny's Win:
- stamina
- speed
- footwork
- body
- shoots
- head movement
